Containers to hold the Garbage that comes directly out of a chute or is fed from a compactor connected to it. Garbage trolleys are placed in the garbage room usually located in the Ground floor or basement of a building.

The specifications including the material used, shape of container and the capacity are decided as per the site requirements. Hot-dip galvanized Steel Garbage trolleys of 1.1 m3 (1100 L) are the widely used standard. The capacity can go as high as 5.5 m3, depending on the requirements at the site.
